After her undergraduate studies, she worked as an investor relations representative at SillaJen, a biopharmaceutical company in Korea specializing in oncolytic virotherapy. In July 2023, Esther joined the MacMillan Group at Princeton University to pursue her PhD in Chemical Biology. Outside of the lab, Esther enjoys taking a walk in the woods, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family.
- She has lived in four different countries, including the USA, yet she is fluent in only two languages: Korean and English.
- Before pursuing research, she used to work in finance.
- Despite spending seven years in London, she still finds it challenging to adjust to the fogs and cold weather.
