Felix Xu

A.B., Princeton, 2025

Felix was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up in the suburbs of Boston, MA. Gaining a passion for chemistry in middle school, he has since gravitated firmly toward the field of organic catalysis and synthesis, enjoying hands-on work in the lab as well as mechanistic reasoning. Felix joined the MacMillan group in the summer of his freshman year due to his interest in metallaphotoredox chemistry, and wants to continue pursuing drug-related research in the future.

Fun Facts

• Felix enjoys cooking during his free time, and cooks for a pop-up restaurant club.
• The only foods Felix dislikes are licorice and bitter melon.
• Felix took up breakdancing while at Princeton!
