Zane Boyer

B.A., Whitman College, 2022

Growing up in a Coast Guard family, Zane moved around the U.S. a bit as a kid but spent most of his time living between Homer and Juneau, Alaska. He attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA, where he received his B.A in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology in 2022. During his time there, his research in the Collins Lab focused on developing novel chemoenzymatic syntheses of epoxyquinoid natural products. When not focusing on his chemistry, Zane spends his time reading fantasy novels, playing his guitar, heading to the gym, or enjoying a swim or run.
